Starting from Meritorious, I have been teaching professionally since 2000. Having an experience of Teaching from School to Ph. D level courses, and of subjects ranging from Religion, Biomedical Sciences, Management Sciences, Psychology and Marketing, I train teachers on developing engaging lectures, teaching adults and how to improve their teaching using latest tools. Workshop Design

Short Course

This short course offers a comprehensive guide to creating impactful workshops, focusing on both theory and practical application.

You will learn with me in person in a one-on-one setting over three weeks, and on the fourth week, deliver an online workhsop to an open audience, executing what you have learnt.

You will go thorugh the whole process of workshop design, from identification of the nature of the problem, needs analysis, application of adult learning theories, to collecting feedback and its implementation.

From crafting clear objectives to executing workshops using modern digital tools, this course ensures a well-rounded learning experience. In the final week, participants will have the opportunity to present their own workshops to a live audience. Join us to master the art of workshop creation and delivery.

Relevant Professional Experience

After completion of his Ph.D. in 2013, Dr. Yahya led the Provincial TB Reference Laboratory, leading a team of about 30 people at Ojha Institute of Chest Diseases, Dow University of Health Sciences for nine years.

During this time, his focus remained on team development and organizing working systems.

He conducted several Professional Development workshops at the lab at Institute of Biomedical Sciences, where he was Deputy Director from January, 2016 to January, 2021.

He is currently leading the digital transformation of teaching and learning at Dow University of Health Sciences, as Director Digital Learning since May 2023.

Relevant Education

Dr. Yahya holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Psychology, an M.Sc in Organizational Psychology and an MBA in Marketing.

He is a medical graduate from Dow Medical College, got his PhD in Infection and Immunity from the University of Glasgow and continued his learning journey onwards. Besides the above mentioned, he has also completed his Dars-e-Nizami from Hidayah Academy, Wifaq ul Madaris Al-Arabiya, Karachi.
